Volcano Inn is the most prestigious accommodations located in the heart of Volcano Village one mile from the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We offer elegant upcountry accommodations comprised of exquisitely appointed rooms at either Volcano Inn or the Guest House at Pali Uli. Volcano Inn was recently built and has four uniquely designed accommodations. The common area features a fireplace and also serves as an art gallery with numerous original local artists' works and is ideal for relaxing in front of the warmth of a fire on cool nights. The expansive lanai is wonderful for afternoon reading or gathering with acquaintances. Volcano Inn also offers FREE high speed internet 24/7.
The Guest House at Pali Uli offers three rooms in the main house and the Sushi Guest Cottage all on the same property which is located just one-half block from Volcano Inn. Originally built in 1928 this 'Plantation Style' home has all the modern conveniences. Treasured antique furnishings can be found throughout the entire household. The gem of the house is our library where you can spend endless hours perusing the priceless collection of books as well as over 500 videos to choose from. In the evening we invite you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings with your favorite find in front of glowing embers from our lava rock fireplace. Oftentimes, due to the mist of Volcano, this extra warmth even in summer is most appreciated. Original works of art can be found throughout the house and several prized antiquities await your discovery.
The Sushi Guest Cottage is a separate studio kitchenette with a private lanai overlooking the gardens and bamboo forest.
We are very close to ACTIVE LAVA FLOWS you can drive and walk right up to! Please call or email at least three weeks in advance for availability, space is limited!

Volcano Inn Policies
General:Volcano Inn does not accept arrivals/departures on both Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Non-Smoking Policy - Volcano Inn is pleased to provide a smoke-free environment in all guestrooms and public areas. Smoking in a guestroom will result in a charge of $150 being applied to your account. This fee will be used to restore the original air quality level.
Cancellation:Cancellation Policy - Cancellations prior to 72 hours arrival by 3pm will be charged a one night stay. Cancellations made within 72 hours arrival by 3pm will be charged a $25 processing fee plus a one night stay. You may cancel by FAX (808) 985-7349, email stay@volcanoinn.com or call us at (808) 967-7293 during business hours of 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Upon cancellation you will be provided with a cancellation number as well as a cancellation letter. Phone messages will NOT be accepted. Failure to provide proper notice will possibly incur additional charges.
NO SHOWS will be charged the full amount due.
Deposit:Confirmation Policy - All reservations are confirmed with a deposit equal to the nightly accommodation rate payable by Master Card or Visa. Should the need be necessary to change dates on your reservation, we ask that these be done by email stay@volcanoinn.com , FAX (808) 985-7349, or in writing via United States Postal Service, all changes will incur a one time $20.00 service fee. Volcano Inn reserves the right, without liability, to provide guests an equal or superior quality accommodation, without notice, for one night reservations.
Check In:Volcano Inn is a Self-Check-In facility. All arrivals may Check-In anytime after 3PM.
Check Out:Check-Out is anytime before 11AM. Express Check-Out is offered for your convenience.
Pets:Sorry, we cannot offer Pet Stays at this time.
Other:A Little Aloha Discount- Stay 3 consecutine nights and receive a 10% discount rate and a complimentary bottle of wine from the Volcano Winery.
A Lot of Aloha- Stay 7consecutive nights and the 7th night is FREE! In addition you will also receive a "Welcome Basket" filled with Hawaiian products to enjoy during your stay. An estimated value worth over $25.
Children:We welcome children of all ages and can accommodate families of up to 6 guests in our Birds of Paradise accommodation.
