Travel the same route that General Robert E. Lee rode into Gettysburg. Stay in this beautiful Victorian Mansion in the country close to the battlefieds. The mansion was built by the President of The Cumberland Valley Railroad. The Railroad played a vital role in the Civil War hauling provisions for the Union Army and Union soldiers. Also close to Chambersburg, the only northern town burned during the Civil War with historical sites including the home of John Brown where he planned the 1859 raid on Harpers Ferry.

The mansion sets on a limestone hilltop with a 50' drop to the forest and trout fishing stream. There is 6.5 acres to roam with colorful gardens to enjoy. The house is 13,000 sq. ft. and was restored to its former glory, filled with antiques, collectibles, Civil War Art & Christmas all year. The gift shop is open to guests only.

Rooms feature queen or king beds, private baths, whirlpools, steam sauna, fireplaces, cable TV, air conditioning and telephones. Murder Mystery Weekends are scheduled all year. Enjoy a quiet, peaceful, romantic setting and Gettysburg, too.
